Split as the second largest city in Croatia and the metropolis of Dalmatia, is ideally located as a starting point for visiting one of the numerous islands on your future adventure. Blue Lagoon is just one of the stops which is conveniently located at the first line of islands from Split.

There are three "line" of islands which you can choose to visit with a private boat tour from Split or you could even combine some of them. First line of islands encompasses north side of Brač island, Šolta island, Drvenik island where the Blue Lagoon is located and Čiovo island being the closest to Split. Boat trip to one of these islands is the easiest to organize and provides the most options, while costing the least, thanks to lower fuel and time expediture.

Second line of islands consists of south side of Brač island, Hvar and Pakleni Islands. Since destinations on these islands are located further away from Split, we spend more time sailing which also raises our fuel expenditure. However, it is still close enough to organize a private boat tour to Blue Lagoon and Hvar island, by speedboat.

Third line of islands includes Vis archipelago which hides lovely beaches and stunning caves on its numerous islets placed around Vis as well as on Vis itself. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Split, by speedboat, to reach this amazing piece of Dalmatia. Despite Blue Lagoon at Drvenik island being a bit too far to visit it in the same day as Vis island, there is also its "sister" lagoon at Budikovac island located near Vis.

Private Boat Tours with Speedboats

If you want o visit one or several islands in Split area, private boat tours with speedboats provide the most options, thanks to their speed and compact size. If you want to visit Blue Lagoon and sourranding islands, you could do it in a half day, if needed. Or you can take your time at each location and stay for several hours in Blue Lagoon.

On the other hand, if you want to visit the Blue Cave and do the sightseeing trip, besides visitng few other islands, there is no other way besides speedboats.

Only difference is that even the biggest speedboats are limited to 12 passengers maximum by Croatian law. In other words, if you are a bigger group, you might need to take 2 or sometimes 3 boats to take everyone on the tour.

If you're a bigger group that wants to visit several islands and you want to be all together on one boat, than we have several big boats for you to choose from. We have boats that can take up to 25, 48, 90 and 150 passengers. What you have to keep in mind is that big boats are limited with their size and speed in destinations they can visit as they need more time to cover the same distance as opposed to speedboats. This is why big boats are best suites for private boat tours to Blue Lagoon and nearby islands as well as for private tour to northern side of Brač island.

Not only that you have more space onboard but you have access to toilet during every part of the trip, ability to move and walk more during the cruise and to take memorable pictures from the top deck.

Big Boat with a Power of Speedboat

In case you are a big group that wants to travel all together, we have a catamaran boat which can take up to 60 passengers onboard and matches the speed of powerboats or comes really close to it.

Catamaran is the only boat in Split of its size that has the speed, capacity and ability to do the tour to Hvar and Vis in the same day, thanks its powerful engines and unique design.

Catamaran speedboat is also the only big boat that can do the Blue Lagoon and 3 Islands tour in a half day, besides the much smaller speedboats.
