Blue Lagoon Croatia: Join Us at one of our Blue Lagoon's boat trips

Blue Lagoon Croatia is something that many visitors to our country are looking for during their visit. Unlike the famous movie drama with Brooke Shields based on a popular novel from 1908, placed on the island in the South Pacific, Blue Lagoon in Croatia is located in the center of Dalmatia on the Adriatic coast, 14 nautical miles southwest from the city of Split.

There are no direct ferry boats to the Blue Lagoon or to the island of Drvenik, from Split, where the lagoon is located. There are no towns or docking piers where ferry boats could dock at the lagoon. That is why boat tours to the Blue Lagoon are in high demand during the summer season.

If you go directly from Split to the Blue Lagoon with a speedboat it will take around 30 minutes or up to 2 hours if you go with a big boat.

If you want to visit the lagoon, you can choose between group tours and private tours to the Blue Lagoon.

Blue Lagoon Croatia - Group Tours

The most popular is Half Day Blue Lagoon Tour with a speedboat that goes twice per day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. With a speedboat tour you save a lot of time on sailing, with a maximum of 12 passengers allowed onboard and the ability to dock on the island. It is best suited for couples or small groups looking for a fun and relaxing day at Blue Lagoon and mid-Adriatic islands.

If you are coming with a family that includes small babies, a pregnant wife or your grandpa or grandma, and you want a bigger, slower boat, you can join us on a family oriented Three Islands Tour with a big boat. Although it takes more time to sail from place to place, you have more space onboard, toilet accessibility during the entire trip as well as lunch and drinks included in the price. Also, since it is a family oriented trip, there is a discount price for kids.

If you are a student or young adults coming with your friends and looking for the beach, sun and fun time at Blue Lagoon Croatia, Boat Party Tour is the one for you. Boat parties bring together young people from all over the world who just want to have a good time and great stories to tell the rest of their friends back home. This kind of tour starts in the afternoon and comes back in the evening with an afterparty later that night.

Blue Lagoon Croatia - Private Tours

If you don't prefer a fixed schedule or you just want to have a boat just for you and your friends and family, a private boat tour is the one for you. Not only that you can choose your own stops, besides the Blue Lagoon, but you have complete privacy, an option to decide how long you want to stay at each destination, where would you like to go for lunch and at which time you would like to start your day.

Private tours are for everyone since couples, small or big groups can find a boat which suits their needs and goals.

For example, if you're a couple or a group of 4, 5 or up 10, 11, 12 people, speedboats are best fit for you. Even if you are a bigger group of 20 or 30 people, you can go with speedboats. Only you would need 2 or 3 speedboats to fit you all in.

That being said, if you are a bigger group and you want to be all together on one boat, then yes big boat is the best fit for you. However, we have big boats that can fit up to 22, 48, 100 and 150 passengers onboard. It only depends on how big your group is and how big of a boat you would like to have.

Blue Lagoon Croatia & Nearby Islands

Besides Drvenik island and its Blue Lagoon, you can visit other islands and amazing spots located in this area. Čiovo and Šolta hide other gems you can visit during our tours.

If you like classical Mediterranean towns, you can visit Maslinica on Šolta, relax on its beaches or stop for lunch at one of its restaurants. On the island of Čiovo you can visit the UNESCO protected town of Trogir which is known for its rich historical heritage and marvelous architecture.

If you like diving or snorkeling, you can visit an old shipwreck at Šolta or the underwater museum at Jelinak bay.

If you're a fan of beach life and summer vibes, Duga bay, Labadusa Strand and Borko beach bar provide an unique experience for your summer vacation.

Blue Lagoon Croatia - Activities

Blue Lagoon Croatia is a marvelous tourist destination in Croatia located between Drvenik Veliki Island and two other small islands, Krknjaš Mali, and Krknjaš Veli. Swimming, snorkeling, and diving are all allowed in the Blue Lagoon.

While speedboats can dock at a small pier on the island, big boats need to anchor in the lagoon. If you go with speedboat, you can walk from the boat to the island. If you go with a big boat, you need to go swimming from the boat which has the stairs onboard or you can just jump into crystal clear turquoise sea of the lagoon.

On all our boats you will find free snorkeling equipment and safety gear for those that need a lifevest for swimming or those that wish to explore the underwater world of Blue Lagoon Croatia. Just ask...
